How do I identify a mushroom?
Frame the whole mushroom — cap, gills, stem, and base — and capture it, or pick a photo from your library. MushroomLens reads the field marks and matches the most likely species with a confidence score.
Can I tell from the app whether a mushroom is safe to eat?
No, never. MushroomLens is for learning and reference only, not a safety check. Many species have toxic lookalikes. Never decide whether a mushroom is edible based on this app — consult a qualified mycologist. See the Identification Disclaimer.
How accurate is it, and what does the confidence score mean?
Each scan returns a most-likely species with a confidence score for how sure the match is. It's a starting point, not a verdict — always confirm against multiple field marks. See the Identification Disclaimer.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open your App Store account settings to manage or cancel anytime. There is no free trial and no lock-in.
How do I delete my data?
Your data is stored on your device, so deleting the app removes everything it created.
